We believe that a yoga teacher training should be a nourishing, life changing, and FUN experience. Yoga is a healing and empowering lifestyle practice that teachers one how to get out of their head and into their heart. It brings us home and reminds us what is important!

We believe that to be a great teacher, one must be a strong student. If you love to learn about yoga and want to bring this love to others- then this program is right for you. This training will teach you how to deepen your personal practice, spread mindfulness and ease into your every day life, and confidently guide yoga classes.

Our trainings are based in the authentic yogic practices of yoga asana, pranayama, mantra, and meditation. Every morning we begin with practices that support spreading intelligence and ease through out the body and mind. These practices include rituals of vinyasa , pranayama, mantra chanting, scripture, and meditation.

Our trainings provide a rich education in the roots and eastern philosophies. The entire training is guided through the lens Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, as these sutras offer us a roadmap to acceptance, love, and peace. We also practice mantras and teach lessons from the first text of yoga, the Vedas and Upanishads and have a master teacher guest teach several Ayurveda sessions.

What you will learn

  • Asana (postures) - Learn the basics of a safe and effective Vinyasa Yoga practice with in-depth study of asana. We will dedicate over a hundred hours to refining our understanding of the asana practice. Through practical application and asana lab where we break down the anatomical alignment, energetic actions, modifications and variations of postures in order to be able to better support all students.

  • Pranayama (breath work) - Understand the science of breath and gain a practice of ancient breathing techniques to heal your nervous system, open up your subtle awareness, calm your mind, and increase your energy.

  • Sadhana- Gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual path. Develop home practices and a deeper connection to the power of ritual, self care, and reflection.

  • Meditation- Explore and practice mindfulness meditation, mantra meditation, visualizations, Patanjali’s Sutras on stilling the mind, Yoga Nidra, and other practices to begin to draw the senses inward towards stillness and peace.

  • Mantra, Chanting & the Science of Sound- Learn the power and practice of mantra and chanting. Open up subtle awareness and enter sublime states of consciousness. Step into a life with a higher vibration.

  • Teaching Skills- Become a confident and empowering yoga teacher. Master how to cue, sequence, guide meditation, & theme powerful yoga classes that support all student levels and all student bodies. Discover your own voice and authentic gifts to share with your community.

  • Teaching Experience- You will practice teaching every weekend and leave this training confident to guide students in a safe, peaceful and empowering yoga class.

  • History, Philosophy, and Sanskrit- Yoga is deeply rooted in history and this program teaches chants and insights from the ancient texts including but not limited to: Vedas, Upanishads, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, Hath Yoga Pradipika, and the Bhagavad Gita.

  • Ayurveda- Discover how to connect with the rhythms of nature. Learn how to align your diet, lifestyle, and yoga practices with the natural seasons that surround and influence you.

  • Functional Anatomy- Learn about the physical body in order to embody more ease and clarity within your poses. Understanding the physical body will allow you to better support your students in their postures as well!

  • Subtle Body- Connect with the invisible energy that is within. Learn about how to gain, refine, and control energy within! Dive deep into the study of the 5 Koshas, 3 main Nadis, 7 Chakras, 3 Grunthis, 5 Vayus, and 3 Bandhas.

  • Yoga Teaching as a Profession- learn how to get hired, how much to charge, what to write off on your taxes, and all the other next steps of becoming a yoga teacher.
